This Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree course is designed to equip students with a range of knowledge and skills in subject areas such as agribusiness, animal science, soil science and food security. It will provide flexible pathways to employment, professional or postgraduate research programs.
As part of this course, you will undertake core and elective subjects such as food processing and government, water resource management or animal breeding. Graduates of this course should be able to find employment within the industry or have built a solid foundation towards obtaining a Masters degree.
Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as quality assurance, soil surveyor, plant geneticist, crop specialist, soil scientist, animal scientist, and etc. in companies including Corporate Agriculture Australia, Agripath, SLR Consulting, KPMG, Department for Environment and Water, and etc.
